I was thrilled when notified that ColorATL would be creating an installation for the Atlanta Beltline Trail. They called back many artists who contributed to the first volume edition coloring book to give us the opportunity to paint our designs on an enlarged wooden verson of the ColorATL logo. This snazzy design, now made into an interactive installation on the east side, beckons passers-by to stop and take the time to add their own personal touch with colorful chalks provided. It has contributed to engaging the community in yet another way, spreading a little joy through the simple act of coloring. And, every time the rain comes, the colors are washed away to present a fresh clean slate for other individuals to follow. Perhaps, you locals, will stop by, try to find which section is associated with my hand and then collaborate with me by bringing it more to life!
